Formaldehyde

In certain circumstances it will be necessary to fumigate Microbiological Safety Cabinets, Clean Rooms and HEPA Filters for purposes of decontamination. Formaldehyde vapour is an extremely effective biocidal agent and used as one of the fumigation process by Independent Air Flow Services.

Fumigation using Formaldehyde must only be carried out by our trained staff with adequate knowledge of the procedure and the precautions to be followed.

Hydrogen Peroxide Bio Decontamination

Independent Air Flow Services uses a hydrogen peroxide based technology to that has proven effectiveness in reducing biological contaminants to below detectable levels for various microorganisms. Surface structures of the microorganisms (proteins, carbohydrates and liquids) are destroyed by the Hydrogen Peroxide (02Safe Solution) being spread onto the spinning disc lower surface, and diffuses in fine droplets near its edge. The air stream created by the fan carries the droplets upwards, and helps their diffusion in the entire volume treated.

Independent Air Flow Service’s Currently uses the Hydrogen Peroxide Bio Decontamination process for fumigation of:-

At the completion of decontamination our comprehensive report will be issued along with Biological Indicator results to validate complete sterilisation has been achieved.
